Katri Kulmuni comes from a Finnish town called Tornio, a small town in western Finnish Lapland, which is located in close to its Swedish neighbor Haaparanta. As a child, Katri went to a school on the Swedish side of the border, where Finns and Swedes learn to read and write together. Katri is a real EU cross border and regional cooperation person!
